God is Sovereign over the plans of the wicked

Monday i felt God's good conviction and realized i had a bad attitude at work related to some tough issues with one specific crooked temporary unit mgr of mine. I felt that God was leading me to repent to some people at work. God brought so much joy to my heart as He enabled me to obey Him and ask forgiveness from 3 of the highest ranked people in my facility. But i'm still asking God to help me love this temp unit mgr. It's not easy.
The temp unit mgr got a good nurse fired yesterday-possibly by lying! This nurse worked hard and did a good job, her pts liked her, staff liked her, she’s a better nurse than me… I talked to mgmt about this yesterday… asking “why?” I’ve heard that this temp unit mgr has done this in the past to other people… I was so angry yesterday… my first thoughts were to quit… before she finds some reason to get me fired and b/c i don't want to work in a place that would just drop employees over the testimony of one crooked person… but I think God is telling me to hold on…. a certain christian that i work with (and God has brought MANY of His children to work at this facility-thank you Jesus! how we need each other!) who truly knows how i feel told me to hold on and that there was a calm in the storm just around the corner! thankfully GOD is in control of all things! Everything that occurs is under His Sovereign will, control, and power. He is working all things for my good and His glory. Pray that he would protect me and His people at my facility, help me to walk in a way that would glorify Him, and save the soul of this lost temp unit mgr!

fred says: "don't worry babe! If you get fired that just may mean it's God's way of saying it's baby making time!" =)

Oh..babies are so great!! Hang in there Cheryl, I am sure God has His plans for you with this job.

It does stink that horrible people can have such upper authority jobs, and nobody seems to see what is going on! I say YOU try to get HER fired. You know in a loving way=)=)

It does sound difficult to deal with the situation you described; you're in our prayers.

I have one word of encouragement to offer - a story: The same horrid manager that I worked for at the Painting Co. was at a pizza place a few months ago. He was there to support his new Church - Church on the Rise (somewhat similar to WorldView). All the time I worked for him, he tried to fire this other Christian guy; not to mention that he really messed with me. But now, he calls Christ "Lord!"

There is hope even for the people who you wouldn't choose to sit next to if presented the option.
